St. Bernard Parish: "The International Gateway to America"

Just 5 miles east of downtown New Orleans, St. Bernard Parish is centrally located on the Gulf of Mexico Coastal Region. With access to all Class I railroads operating in North America and four major highways, St. Bernard Parish has an enormous trade area that services 76 million people. Sharing a portion of the Louisiana port system, including both deep water and shallow draft ports, St. Bernard Parish contributes to one of the worlds largest port systems bringing millions of tons of cargo into and out of the country.
